Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Midwinter Spring 49 3/8 x 67 5/8 in. (125.4 x 171.8 cm.) by Bo Bartlett was sold in the American Art auction at Bonhams in New York in May last year. The price achieved of USD 31,875.00 (€ 29,703.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bo Bartlett have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hurtsboro in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 185,993.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Midwinter Spring 49 3/8 x 67 5/8 in. (125.4 x 171.8 cm.) von Bo Bartlett wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion American Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.875,00 (€ 29.703,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bo Bartlett auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hurtsboro im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 185.993,11).
