This artwork by Bo Bartlett achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2011. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work The Parabolist sold for USD 30,000.00 (€ 20,923.42) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bo Bartlett have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hurtsboro in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 185,993.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bo Bartlett erzielte im Juli 2011 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit The Parabolist für USD 30.000,00 (€ 20.923,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bo Bartlett auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hurtsboro im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 185.993,11).
