Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Hollowman by Bo Bartlett was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 63,000.00 (€ 55,816.43). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bo Bartlett - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hurtsboro, which sold at auction in May 2021 for USD 226,800.00 (€ 185,993.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Hollowman von Bo Bartlett kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 63.000,00 (€ 55.816,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Bo Bartlett mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hurtsboro beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für USD 226.800,00 (€ 185.993,11) versteigert wurde.
