This artwork by Bo Bartlett achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in January 2011. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Summer sold for USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,051.04) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bo Bartlett have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hurtsboro in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 185,993.11).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Bo Bartlett erzielte im Januar 2011 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Summer für USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.051,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bo Bartlett auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hurtsboro im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 185.993,11).
