In January 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Crow's Caw-Toward Dharmata by Bo Bartlett. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,291.29), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bo Bartlett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hurtsboro in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 185,993.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Januar 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Crow's Caw-Toward Dharmata von Bo Bartlett zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.291,29) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bo Bartlett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hurtsboro im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 185.993,11).
