Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Car Wing, Suitcase And Incident by Bill Woodrow for GBP 4,250.00 (€ 5,173.23). This price was achieved in the auction Made In Britain at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bill Woodrow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Round the Kitchen Table, which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Car Wing, Suitcase And Incident von Bill Woodrow für GBP 4.250,00 (€ 5.173,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Made In Britain bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bill Woodrow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Round the Kitchen Table beobachtet, die im September 2015 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68) versteigert wurde.
