In November 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Nude, East Sussex Coast", 1977 by Bill Brandt. The auction ended at the price of SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,950.92), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bill Brandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Van Gogh'S Room In The Asylum Of St. Paul-De-Mausole (St. Rémy)' in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,220.97).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Nude, East Sussex Coast", 1977 von Bill Brandt zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.950,92) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bill Brandt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Van Gogh'S Room In The Asylum Of St. Paul-De-Mausole (St. Rémy)' im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.000,00 (€ 170.220,97).
