Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Fist on Pebbles by Bill Brandt for USD 3,200.00 (€ 2,903.81). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs Now The Collector's Edition at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bill Brandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Van Gogh'S Room In The Asylum Of St. Paul-De-Mausole (St. Rémy)' in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,220.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fist on Pebbles von Bill Brandt für USD 3.200,00 (€ 2.903,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs Now The Collector's Edition bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bill Brandt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Van Gogh'S Room In The Asylum Of St. Paul-De-Mausole (St. Rémy)' im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.000,00 (€ 170.220,97).
