Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Village Beside The Waterfall by Bian Wenyu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 70,375.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 550,000.00 – 750,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bian Wenyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 165,092.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Village Beside The Waterfall von Bian Wenyu kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 70.375,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 550.000,00 – 750.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bian Wenyu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 165.092,72) versteigert wurde.
