Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Teaching By A Window by Bian Wenyu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 26,980.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bian Wenyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 165,092.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Teaching By A Window von Bian Wenyu kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 26.980,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bian Wenyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 165.092,72).
