This artwork by Beverly Pepper achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Maquette For Claudio Column sold for USD 32,760.00 (€ 28,127.41) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Beverly Pepper - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ligne Scolpite II, which sold at auction in September 2018 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 80,665.98).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Beverly Pepper erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Maquette For Claudio Column für USD 32.760,00 (€ 28.127,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Beverly Pepper mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ligne Scolpite II beobachtet, die im September 2018 für USD 93.750,00 (€ 80.665,98) versteigert wurde.
