The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 518,878.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bernardo Daddi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 3,861,000.00 (€ 3,374,705.01).
