Auction result well in line with expectations
The work St. John The Evangelist; St. Francis by Bernardo Daddi was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600,000.00 – 800,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 601,250.00 (€ 682,238.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bernardo Daddi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 3,861,000.00 (€ 3,374,705.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit St. John The Evangelist; St. Francis von Bernardo Daddi kam im Juli 2009 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 601.250,00 (€ 682.238,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernardo Daddi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.861.000,00 (€ 3.374.705,01).
