Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June last year Christies in New York held the auction Old Masters | New Perspectives: Masterworks from The Alana Collection, which included the work Saints Lucy and Catherine of Alexandria: A Predella panel from the S. Giorgio a Ruballa altarpiece by Bernardo Daddi. Here, the upper estimate of USD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 529,200.00 (€ 505,492.41). Admittedly, works by Bernardo Daddi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 3,861,000.00 (€ 3,374,705.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Masters | New Perspectives: Masterworks from The Alana Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saints Lucy and Catherine of Alexandria: A Predella panel from the S. Giorgio a Ruballa altarpiece von Bernardo Daddi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 529.200,00 (€ 505.492,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernardo Daddi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.861.000,00 (€ 3.374.705,01).
