Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saints Lucy and Catherine of Alexandria; Saint John the Evangelist; and Saint Nicholas of Bari (?): Predella panels from the S. Giorgio a Ruballa altarpiece by Bernardo Daddi was sold in the Old Master Paintings Part I auction at Christies in New York in January 2012. The price achieved of USD 578,500.00 (€ 443,193.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bernardo Daddi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 3,861,000.00 (€ 3,374,705.01).

Giorgio a Ruballa altarpiece von Bernardo Daddi wurde im Januar 2012 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings Part I bei Christies in New York versteigert.
