Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work The Left Shutter Of A Diptych: The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints Paul(?), Bartholomew, An Evangelist (Saint Matthew?) And Catherine Of Alexandria by Bernardo Daddi. The price achieved of GBP 241,250.00 (€ 288,930.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernardo Daddi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 3,861,000.00 (€ 3,374,705.01).

Im Dezember 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Left Shutter Of A Diptych: The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints Paul(?), Bartholomew, An Evangelist (Saint Matthew?) And Catherine Of Alexandria von Bernardo Daddi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 241.250,00 (€ 288.930,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernardo Daddi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.861.000,00 (€ 3.374.705,01).
