Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Bernard Meninsky achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in December 2020. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Woman in Landscape sold for GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,709.15) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Meninsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bathers in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,784.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bernard Meninsky erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Woman in Landscape für GBP 1.530,00 (€ 1.709,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernard Meninsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Bathers im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.784,76).
