The work The Repose by Bernard Meninsky was sold in the Modern | British & Irish Art auction at Christies in London in April 2019. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,816.44), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Meninsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Bathers, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,784.76).

Die Arbeit The Repose von Bernard Meninsky wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Modern | British & Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.816,44) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernard Meninsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Bathers beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.784,76) versteigert wurde.
