Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Coisa Linda by Beatriz Milhazes was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,725.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Beatriz Milhazes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Meu Limão in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,612,990.01).
