Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Twiggy, 1966 by Barry Lategan was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2019. The price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,667.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,400.00 – 3,600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barry Lategan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Twiggy, 1966, which sold at auction in September 2017 for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,054.20).
