Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bianca Jagger, Ca.1980 by Barry Lategan was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in March 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,976.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Barry Lategan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Twiggy, 1966 in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,054.20).

Die Arbeit Bianca Jagger, Ca.1980 von Barry Lategan wurde im März 2020 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.976,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Barry Lategan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Twiggy, 1966 im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.054,20).
