Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction British. Cool., which included the work Twiggy, 1966, printed later by Barry Lategan. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,626.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barry Lategan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Twiggy, 1966, which sold at auction in September 2017 for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,054.20).
