A top price for Barlow Moore - as previously expected
The work Storm, Fishing Boat Passing The Elbe, Lightvessel by Barlow Moore was sold in the British & Continental Pictures including Sporting and Marine Paintings auction at Sothebys in Olympia in July 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,990.38) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Storm, Fishing Boat Passing The Elbe, Lightvessel is the most expensive artwork by Barlow Moore that we have observed at auctions so far.
