The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,750.77), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barlow Moore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Storm, Fishing Boat Passing The Elbe, Lightvessel, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,990.38).

Die Arbeit Erycina Winning The Queen'S Cup At Cork, 1887 von Barlow Moore kam im Juni 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.750,77) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Barlow Moore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Storm, Fishing Boat Passing The Elbe, Lightvessel beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.990,38) versteigert wurde.
