Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boadicea off the Needles by Barlow Moore was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2004. It changed hands for a price of GBP 286.80 (€ 433.42) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barlow Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Storm, Fishing Boat Passing The Elbe, Lightvessel in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,990.38).
