In the MARITIME AND NAVAL BATTLES auction, the work A three-decker and other shipping off Portsmouth sold for GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,361.42) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barlow Moore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Storm, Fishing Boat Passing The Elbe, Lightvessel, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,990.38).
