Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Still Life Of Pomegranates, Grapes, A Silver Vessel, A Roemer And A Venetian Glass On A Marble Table Draped With A Cloth by Barend van der Meer was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in November 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 11,250.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Barend van der Meer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Früchtestillleben mit einem Römer und Vögeln in May 2018 with an auction result of EUR 68,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Still Life Of Pomegranates, Grapes, A Silver Vessel, A Roemer And A Venetian Glass On A Marble Table Draped With A Cloth von Barend van der Meer kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 11.250,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Barend van der Meer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Früchtestillleben mit einem Römer und Vögeln im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.200,00.
