Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2008 Christies in London held the auction Important Old Master & British PicturesDay Sale Including Property From The Collection Of The Princely House Of Liechtenstein, which included the work Grapes, peaches and an orange in a porcelain bowl, with a watch, nuts, a knife, a glass decanter, wine-glasses, grapes and a carpet on a wooden table by Barend van der Meer. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,762.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barend van der Meer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Früchtestillleben mit einem Römer und Vögeln, which sold at auction in May 2018 for EUR 68,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Old Master & British PicturesDay Sale Including Property From The Collection Of The Princely House Of Liechtenstein durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grapes, peaches and an orange in a porcelain bowl, with a watch, nuts, a knife, a glass decanter, wine-glasses, grapes and a carpet on a wooden table von Barend van der Meer zur Versteigerung kam.
