Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Barbro Östlihn was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 32,000.00 (€ 2,928.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barbro Östlihn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "2-4 Ferry St. NYC" in November 2021 with an auction result of SEK 540,000.00 (€ 52,674.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Barbro Östlihn wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 32.000,00 (€ 2.928,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Barbro Östlihn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "2-4 Ferry St. NYC" im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 540.000,00 (€ 52.674,76).
