Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2012 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Animal Destiny by Bai Yiluo. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,179.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bai Yiluo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Animal Destiny, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 55,000.00 (€ 37,445.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2012 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Animal Destiny von Bai Yiluo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.179,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bai Yiluo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Animal Destiny beobachtet, die im November 2007 für USD 55.000,00 (€ 37.445,53) versteigert wurde.
