Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work People No. 3 by Bai Yiluo. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,113.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bai Yiluo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Animal Destiny, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 55,000.00 (€ 37,445.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2008 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit People No. 3 von Bai Yiluo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.113,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bai Yiluo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Animal Destiny beobachtet, die im November 2007 für USD 55.000,00 (€ 37.445,53) versteigert wurde.
