Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Weapon by Bai Yiluo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2008. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,433.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bai Yiluo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Animal Destiny in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 55,000.00 (€ 37,445.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Weapon von Bai Yiluo kam im September 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 8.433,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bai Yiluo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Animal Destiny im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 37.445,53).
