This work without title by Badri Narayan was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in June 2019. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,133.70), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Badri Narayan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 52,908.17).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Badri Narayan wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.133,70) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Badri Narayan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 52.908,17).
