The work The Flight by Badri Narayan was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in London in September 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,710.00 (€ 11,809.52), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Badri Narayan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 52,908.17).

Die Arbeit The Flight von Badri Narayan wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.710,00 (€ 11.809,52) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Badri Narayan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 52.908,17).
