Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Badri Narayan was sold in the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,533.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Badri Narayan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2008 the work without title was auctioned for USD 74,500.00 (€ 52,908.17).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Badri Narayan wurde im März 2016 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.533,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00.
