The work Untitled (Woman And Man With Bird) by Badri Narayan was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2015. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,625.00 (€ 14,861.72), 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Badri Narayan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2008 for USD 74,500.00 (€ 52,908.17).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Woman And Man With Bird) von Badri Narayan wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 14.861,72) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Badri Narayan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2008 für USD 74.500,00 (€ 52.908,17) versteigert wurde.
