Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Man And Moon) by Badri Narayan was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,877.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Badri Narayan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 52,908.17).
