Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape With Houses And Trees by Badri Narayan was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2016. The price achieved of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,511.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Badri Narayan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 52,908.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape With Houses And Trees von Badri Narayan kam im März 2016 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.511,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Badri Narayan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 52.908,17).
