Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Indian Sale, which included this untitled work by B. Vithal. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,361.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by B. Vithal have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2020 the work Untitled (Horses) was auctioned for USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,468.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Indian Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von B. Vithal zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.361,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von B. Vithal konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2020 die Arbeit Untitled (Horses) für USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.468,17) versteigert.
