It achieved a price of USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,358.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by B. Vithal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Horses), which sold at auction in September 2020 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,468.17).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Seated Brahmins) von B. Vithal wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 12.600,00 (€ 11.358,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Für andere Arbeiten von B. Vithal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Horses) beobachtet, die im September 2020 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.468,17) versteigert wurde.
