Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Indian Art including Miniatures and Modern Paintings, which included this untitled work by B. Vithal. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 9,000.00 (€ 6,729.48). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by B. Vithal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Horses), which sold at auction in September 2020 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,468.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Indian Art including Miniatures and Modern Paintings durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von B. Vithal zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 9.000,00 (€ 6.729,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von B. Vithal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Horses) beobachtet, die im September 2020 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.468,17) versteigert wurde.
