The price achieved of GBP 31,500.00 (€ 36,697.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Azade Köker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Apple, which sold at auction in October 2011 for USD 122,500.00 (€ 87,832.51).
