Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Kuzey Ormani (The North Woods) by Azade Köker was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 34,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 39,247.11). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Azade Köker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Apple, which sold at auction in October 2011 for USD 122,500.00 (€ 87,832.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Kuzey Ormani (The North Woods) von Azade Köker kam im April 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 34.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 34.850,00 (€ 39.247,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Azade Köker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Apple beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für USD 122.500,00 (€ 87.832,51) versteigert wurde.
