Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2011 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art, which included the work Milas Forest In Fire by Azade Köker. Here, the upper estimate of USD 55,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 56,250.00 (€ 37,952.90). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Azade Köker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Apple, which sold at auction in October 2011 for USD 122,500.00 (€ 87,832.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2011 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Milas Forest In Fire von Azade Köker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 55.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 56.250,00 (€ 37.952,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Azade Köker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Apple beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für USD 122.500,00 (€ 87.832,51) versteigert wurde.
