Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ayan Farah could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Haiz changed hands for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,092.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ayan Farah - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Saline, which sold at auction in April 2015 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,874.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ayan Farah konnte im Dezember 2015 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Haiz für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 5.092,32) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ayan Farah mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Saline beobachtet, die im April 2015 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.874,04) versteigert wurde.
