The work Unknown by Awang Damit Ahmad was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 16,550.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Awang Damit Ahmad - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Garis Mega (Iraga Series), which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 600,000.00 (€ 61,771.75).

Die Arbeit Unknown von Awang Damit Ahmad kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 16.550,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Awang Damit Ahmad mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Garis Mega (Iraga Series) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 600.000,00 (€ 61.771,75) versteigert wurde.
