In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Pagarama Baru "Pagar" by Awang Damit Ahmad. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 437,500.00 (€ 51,111.66), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Awang Damit Ahmad have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 61,771.75) in October 2014 for the work Garis Mega (Iraga Series).

Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pagarama Baru "Pagar" von Awang Damit Ahmad zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 51.111,66) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Awang Damit Ahmad haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 61.771,75) im Oktober 2014 für die Arbeit Garis Mega (Iraga Series) beobachtet.
