Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Payarama "Dari Dalaman" (Payarama "From Within") by Awang Damit Ahmad was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 39,432.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 280,000.00 – 380,000.00. Other works by Awang Damit Ahmad have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2014 the work Garis Mega (Iraga Series) was auctioned for HKD 600,000.00 (€ 61,771.75).
