Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ragazza in interno by Attilio Toro was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in December 2003. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,736.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,300.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Attilio Toro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nudo di giovane donna, which sold at auction in November 2002 for EUR 3,720.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ragazza in interno von Attilio Toro wurde im Dezember 2003 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.736,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.300,00 – 1.800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Attilio Toro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nudo di giovane donna beobachtet, die im November 2002 für EUR 3.720,00 versteigert wurde.
