In November 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Giovane donna by Attilio Toro. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,728.00 52% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Attilio Toro; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Nudo di giovane donna sold at auction in November 2002 with the realized price of EUR 3,720.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 52 % übertroffen
Im November 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Giovane donna von Attilio Toro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.728,00 und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Attilio Toro; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Nudo di giovane donna im November 2002 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 3.720,00.
